SWPT PAT Testing Ltd has been established since 2006. During this time we have tested hundreds of customers and many thousands of items. There are many accidents in the workplace that happen every year, we have helped identify electrical items that could have caused serious injury to a client or one of their employees.
We have seen many changes to the industry over the years and seen many companies come and go. We are still around because we have built up a customer base that includes national companies, doctor’s surgeries, hospitals, schools, commercial and industrial customers as well as private landlords and small home run businesses.
We are best placed to offer advice as well as a comprehensive service that will:
- Analyse your needs
- Supply a quote for the service
- Agree a convenient date and time for testing
- Physically carry out the service
- Produce and email all documents relating to the service
- Agree a frequency of testing over a period of time
- Contact you when you need to get your equipment retested
We currently employ 15 full time technicians (PAT testers) and have 5 full time office staff. This means from the moment you call/email us we have enough staff in place to support the back end of our operation as well as the physical testing. Collectively we have 60 + years of experience in both the testing and management of electrical items. We have seen most things that you would expect within the industry and are best placed to advise and answer questions.
We have continually updated our equipment since we started out. We use the latest equipment from Seaward which has really given us an edge. Not only does it make the job easier for our staff but it streamlines the service we offer to the customer meaning less disruption and a quicker turnaround time from testing to receiving the report and certificate.
From the mains powered Seaward Supernova we steadily built up our client base before moving onto the hand held battery operated Primetest 300. These were a game changer; we were able to test more items on a daily basis. Reports could be sent via Bluetooth to the software and reports and certificates generated, giving an overall quicker turnaround time. Seaward then launched the Apollo range and once again it was a huge step up, we have 25 of these machines and they are vital to our operation.
